Directions

Cambray Baptist Church is conveniently located in the centre of Cheltenham just off the High Street. The following directions and Map, as well as links to appropriate Google Maps for Parking, will enable you to locate us easily.

Walking

The church building is just off the east end of the High Street.  Look for the new John Lewis and then find Costa Coffee and turn down the road with Costa Coffee at it’s corner.  The church is just down this road on the right.

Driving

From the north

Follow the A435 into Cheltenham past Pitville Park and on until you come to traffic lights.  Turn left onto the A46 and follow the road until you hit a T-junction.  Turn right onto High Street and after the sharp left you will enter Bath Road.  Park in the Bath Parade car park.  When you come back out to Bath Road, Cambray Place is to your right back along Bath Road and the church is in front of you in Cambray Place. Driving

From the south west

Follow the A40 in and continue on the A40 until you come to a garage at the centre of a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Lansdown Road.  At the roundabout, turn left and continue past Montpellier Gardens.  At the traffic lights, take the right lane and turn right. Follow the road until you have to turn left.  Park in Rodney Road car park and then walk up Rodney Road until you pass a pedestrian path to the right.   Take this pathway into Cambray Place and the church is further down Cambray Place. Driving

From the south east

Follow the A40 in from Oxford and continue on until the road enters High Street and takes a sharp left.  You are now entering Bath Road and can park in the Bath Parade car park.  When you walk back out to Bath Road, Cambray Place is to your right and the church is in front of you in Cambray Place. [Google Map]

Parking

The nearest car parks are in Rodney Road and Bath Parade, both accessed from the inner ring road, which goes one-way in a clockwise direction.  Also nearby are the Town Centre East multi-story car park and the St. James Street car park which both have large capacity, though are the other side of the one-way system. Additionally, there is Pay & Display street parking in Cambray Place, Monday to Sunday, up until 8pm.

For free parking on a Sunday 5 minutes walk from the church building, try College Road (walking through Sandford Park), Priory Street, Oxford Street and Carlton Street or for a Sunday evening, try Vittoria Walk or Imperial Square.
