What are Heritage Open Days?
A national celebration of England’s architecture and culture which offers a great opportunity for both visitors and residents to explore historic buildings that are either not normally open to the public or have waived their entrance charges for the weekend.
Visit Cambray Baptist Church Building
Cambray Baptist Church building is open on 6th-7th September, 10am-3pm, as part of the national Heritage Open Days. Come and see an imposing Victorian building and all of the halls and rooms that are somehow ‘hidden’ behind the main church facade. Hear about the history of the building and how it adapted in times of emergency. Learn how the church building was put in place strategically in the mid 1800’s as the town developed. Learn how the church has impacted lives across the world. And there is so much more to tell you …
Just call in as you are able, and we will ensure that you are given a guided tour without too much waiting. Feel free to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and stay for as long or as short as is helpful. Free tea/coffee and cakes are available too!!
The tours, refreshments and the events are all FREE!
We look forward to meeting you!
