Mission Team
Our Mission Team are volunteers from within those committed to Cambray Baptist Church who oversee our Mission support, communication, and vision as well as looking after the practical and spiritual care of our Mission Partners.
The following are the members of our Mission Team
Our Mission Team Coordinator calls together the Mission Team for meetings, helps the team form direction and strategy, and encourages the development of the Mission Team.
Nick is a former Missionary and Pastor. Nick heads up the public envisioning for Mission, outworked in organising various ‘Mission Sundays’ in our church calendar and encouraging engagement in Mission interest.
Simon has formerly served as Mission Team Coordinator, and brings that experience to coordinate encouragement to pray for our Mission Partners and bring in regular partner prayer news.
Rachel also serves on the trust board of a Mission and has organised some short-term mission teams from the church. She is responsible for publicity and communications, raising Mission awareness via noticeboards, in-church announcements, social media and more.
Ian liaises between Missionaries and their Mission Agencies to plan our church Missionary financial support. Ian is our contact point with Mission Agencies for the ongoing support of Mission Partners ‘in the field’.
Debby has just joined our team, but brings with her both a passion for God’s Kingdom work worldwide and phenomenal administrative gifts.
