Partner Organisations

Mission Partners from Cambray Baptist Church are engaged with the following Mission Organisations:

Crosslinks

Crosslinks exists to help people get involved in God’s mission. They have workers in more than 35 countries worldwide – over 130 of which are long-term mission partners sent by churches in Britain and Ireland. Cambray Baptist Church also supports 8 Trainees from Africa, Japan and Eastern Europe, training for Pastoral or Church Ministry to their own peoples.

IFES

The International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) exists to see a bright witness to Christ established in every university in the world. They now have presence in 150 countries. They aim to equip students to be (i) effective evangelists; (ii) serious disciples; (iii) mission-minded Christians and empowered to transform lives in their communities.

Operation Mobilisation

Operation Mobilisation shares the love of Jesus with the least-reached communities and people groups around the world. OM have 5,000 workers representing over 113 nations living out their lives, their passions and their faith in more than 110 countries and in world port communities, through our ship, Logos Hope

SIM

Serving in Mission (SIM) is committed to Biblical truth and passionate about pioneering gospel work to take the good news of Jesus worldwide. They are an inter-denominational, evangelical organisation committed to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to communities where he is least known. They work hand-in-hand with churches to build multi-cultural teams which can reach out cross-culturally.

Wycliffe

Why does Wycliffe Bible Translators exist? To translate the Bible into every language. But in fact our concern goes deeper than translation alone. Our passion is to enable all peoples to engage with the Bible for themselves. At least 1.5 billion people do not have access to the story of God’s love for his people – the story of the Bible – in the language that they understand the best. Of the 7,353 languages in the world today, only 698 have a complete Bible.

Cambray Baptist Church also supports the following Partner Organisations:

BU Home Mission

Home Mission is all about helping Baptist churches and individuals to reach their mission potential and bring the love of God to their communities.

CAP

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) – Cheltenham Debt centre are on a mission to release thousands of families from grinding poverty through award winning debt counselling and community groups. By equipping and empowering local churches to reach out on their doorsteps, they bring hope to tens of thousands of people every year. Every CAP service is run through a local church, equipped and empowered to transform lives in their communities.

Cheltenham Street Pastors

Street Pastors represents the church in action on the street – caring, listening, helping. Street Pastors is about Christians rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in practically responding to the problems of crime and safety in our town centres, sharing the love of Christ and the gospel with those in need.

BMS

Baptist Missionary Society (BMS) works among some of the most marginalised and least evangelised people, in some of the most fragile places on earth. We aim to bring life in all its fullness through seven key ministries: church, development, education, health, justice, leadership and relief.
