A largely flat walk of around 4.5 miles, starting from Eastington and walking along the canal towpath and back through fields and tracks. Places of interest are the new railway bridge at Ocean in Stonehouse, which has now been completed, Beards Mill waterfall and viaduct. Maybe spot the resident kingfisher along the canal!

Parking is at Pike Lock, Eastington, travelling from Stroud A419 towards M5, at roundabout for Eastington turn left then left for car park at Pike Lock, right then left if coming from M5 direction.
