COTSWOLD WALKS

These circular walks usually take place on the first or second Saturday afternoon of each month. Any alterations to the schedule will be announced in the church bulletin with full details of each hike available in the church foyer during the month beforehand. Car parking is not always easy so it is a good idea to turn up early and shared vehicles can be a bonus. It is advised that you bring suitable footwear, preferably boots, plus an adequate waterproof. If it is fine then you can always leave them in the car! Maps and mobile phones optional!

2012 – 2013

1. September 15th 2012 Arlingham & Overton – meeting 2pm near the Red Lion pub in Arlingham, grid reference SO 709109. Alternatively join us there for lunch at 12 noon.
Total 5.5 miles 2.5 hours.

2. October 13th 2012 Winchcombe & Waterhatch – meeting 2pm in the car park behind the main street in Winchcombe, grid reference SP 024284. Alternatively, join us at the Corner Cupboard for lunch at 12 noon (it has a car park immediately behind).
Total 5 miles 2.5 hours.

3. November 3rd 2012 Ford & Temple Guiting – meeting 2pm near the Plough Inn at Ford. Alternatively, meet us there at 12 noon, grid reference SP 088294
Total 4 miles 2 hours.

4. December 1st 2012 Cleeve Hill - meeting 1.30pm in the quarry car park near Cleeve Hill Golf Club, grid reference SO 989272.
Total 4 miles 2 hours.

5. January 5th 2013 Cotswold Water Park – meeting 12 noon in the Gateway Centre, grid reference SU 073972 for lunch. Thereafter meet 1.30pm
Total 4 miles 2 hours.

6. February 2nd 2013 Chedworth Woods – meeting 1.30pm in the ChedworthVilla car park, grid reference SP 055134.
Total 3.5 miles 2 hours.

7. March 2nd 2013 Hetty Pegler’s Tump – meeting 1.30pm in the car park at Frocester Hill, grid reference SP 794015.
Total 4 miles 2 hours

8. April 6th 2013 – River Thames – meeting 2pm  in Buscot village, grid reference SU 232977.
Total 2 miles 2-2.5 hours alongside the river to Kelmscott.

9. May 11th 2013 Snowshill – meeting 2pm at Snowshill, grid reference SP 096339.
Total 4 miles 2-2.5 hours.

10. June 1st 2013 Stanton & Stanway – meeting 2pm in the car park next to the cricket pitch in Stanton, grid reference SP 067342.
Total 4.5 miles 2.5hours.

11. July 6th 2013 Andoversford & Brockhampton – meeting 2pm in Station Road, Andoversford, grid reference SP 022198.
