Students
Students
As a Church we want to make students feel as welcome as possible. Knowing that students have numerous commitments at college or university, Cambray offers a warm welcome, with the invitation for you to participate as much or as little as you wish. We hope that the Cambray church family will be a valuable part of your student experience. We are keen to support you on your journey whether you have been a Christian for years or you are still undecided.
We encourage Christian students to be actively involved in the university Christian Union, as we believe this is a great chance to meet other Christians and, be part of a mission team on campus.
There are many opportunities to get involved in the life of the church, including Christianity Explored, youth and children’s work, various music groups, and the Cambray football team.
Lunches
After Sunday morning services a free lunch is available every week during term time. This is a great opportunity for students to have a cooked lunch in the homes of church families week by week. It’s a fantastic time to build relationships with other students, and to get to know those within the church.
After 8
Following the evening service we meet in the church lounge for “After 8″. The programme changes from week to week, but it’s a valuable opportunity to talk together over tea and biscuits, discuss what you hear in church, have your questions answered, and enjoy time together before the week ahead.
