A series of four evening classes to help local Christians understand and relate to their Muslim neighbours.

Saturday 6th February 2010 (9:30am – 4pm) – Youth Ministry Course – DAY ONE

All together now… Young people and the spirituality of church life…

Spirituality may not be the first word that springs to mind when somebody mentions youth ministry, but how can the two be brought together within Church life for a generation that is spiritually seeking? The first of three Saturdays aimed at equipping youth workers and volunteers in churches will deal with this topic.

Saturday 6th March 2010 (9:30am – 4:30pm) – Environment day Conference : Food Futures

The Food Futures Day Conference at Redcliffe College, Gloucester help us respond by asking what God wants us to learn and how we could personally change and adapt.

We will look at what Scripture says about our relationship with food and those that produce it, and at what can be done to improve global production, food security, and patterns of trade. For those of us who do not grow food but do eat it, we will explore the jungle of food ethics and whether ‘conscience in the supermarket’ is an adequate response to the coming storm.

Saturday 13th March 2010 (10:00am – 4:30pm) – Preparing Families for Life Overseas

A day workshop for parents and children to help prepare for living abroad.

“Impressive, well researched, and a wealth of knowledge and experience. What a brilliant and helpful day.”

“This has been the most helpful input we have yet had as we prepare to go overseas.”

This is just some of the feedback from previous ‘Preparing Families’ day workshops held at Redcliffe…

Saturday 27th March 2010 (9:30am – 4pm) – Youth Ministry Course – DAY TWO

Discipleship with bite (and boots)…

Two buzzwords in youth ministry at the moment are discipleship and evangelism. It is all very well using these words with young people but what do they really mean on a day to day basis? And perhaps more importantly how can we get young people to engage with discipleship and evangelism? The second of three Saturdays aimed at equipping youth workers and volunteers in churches will give us ideas how to do this.

For more details please click here.

Saturday 15th May 2010 (9:30am – 4pm) – Youth Ministry Course – DAY THREE

17 again – engaging with youth culture…

What are those electronic gadgets they are all playing with? What on earth are they wearing? And more importantly what is that rubbish that they are listening to? Even for those of us who work with them, young people can remain something of a mystery. But is understanding all the trends and fashions all there is to engaging with Youth culture? The last of three Saturdays aimed at equipping youth workers and volunteers in churches will help you discover much more!

Day Courses, throughout the academic year

In this day and age it is often not possible or practical to give up a job and move into full-time study.

At Redcliffe we recognise this and offer the local community the opportunity to take courses that are stimulating and challenging, at a fraction of the cost of full time study.

There are a wide variety of classes to choose from. The main subject areas are Biblical studies, Theology, Mission studies, Biblical languages and Practical studies…
