OLD TESTAMENT – OLD TRUTH?

Saturday 12th June 2010

This conference is open to all Christians who are interested in the topic.It might be
of particular interest to academics, church leaders and students including research students.

Main speakers:

Gordon McConville is Professor of Old Testament Theology at the University of Gloucestershire. He is author of many books including The Old Testament (Hodder 1996) and Deuteronomy (IVP 2002).


Gordon Wenham is Emeritus Professor at University of Gloucestershire. He is author of Story as Torah Reading the Old Testament Ethically (T & T Clark 2000) and several Bible Commentaries eg. Genesis 1-15 (Word 1983), and Genesis 16-50 (Word 1994).

Rev Dr Christopher Wright is International Director of Langham Partnership International and was formerly Principal of All Nations Christian College, Ware. He is author of  Knowing Jesus through the Old Testament, (Monarch 2005), Knowing the Holy Spirit Through the Old Testament (IVP/Monarch 2006) and The Mission of God Unlocking the Bible’s Grand Narrative (IVP 2006).

On Sunday 13 June 2010 Rev Dr Chris Wright will preach at Cambray Baptist Church during the service that starts at 10.30am.
