COTSWOLD WALKS
These circular walks usually take place on the first or second Saturday afternoon of each month. Any alterations to the schedule will be announced in the church bulletin with full details of each hike available in the church foyer during the month beforehand. Car parking is not always easy so it is a good idea to turn up early and shared vehicles can be a bonus. It is advised that you bring suitable footwear, preferably boots, plus an adequate waterproof. If it is fine then you can always leave them in the car! Maps and mobile phones optional!

1. September 13th Notgrove – meeting 2pm in the car park opposite the telephone kiosk, grid reference SP108203. Total 6 miles 3 hours.
2. October 4th Woolridge – meeting 2pm off the main road not far from the Rising Sun pub, grid reference SO805238. Total 4.5 miles 2.25 hours.
3. November 8th Cirencester Canal part 1 – meeting 2pm by the playing field at Siddington, grid reference SO031997. Total 4.5 miles 2.25 hours.
4. December 6th Brimscombe – meeting 1.30pm at Hope Mill Lock, grid reference SO864027. Total 4 miles 2 hours.
5. January 10th Cotswold Water park – meeting 1.30pm in the Gateway Centre, grid reference SU073972. Total 4 miles 2 hours. Why not join us beforehand for lunch at 12 noon?
6. February 7th Sezincote – meeting 1.30pm by the telephone kiosk in the side road near the church at Bourton-on-the-Hill, grid reference SP175325. Total 3.5 miles 2 hours.
7. March 7th Guiting Power – meeting 2pm in the centre of the village, grid reference SP094247. Total 5 miles 2.5 hours.
8. April 4th Cirencester Canal part 2 – meeting 2pm by the playing field at Siddington, grid reference SO031997. Total 6 miles 3 hours.
9. May 16th The Battle of Tewkesbury – meeting 2pm at the entrance to Tewkesbury Abbey, grid reference SO891324. Total 6 miles 3 hours.
10. June 6th Chipping Campden – meeting 2pm at the National Trust car park on Dover’s Hill, grid reference SP136395. Total 5 miles 2.5 hours.
11. July 4th Coopers Hill – meeting 2pm in one of the adjacent car parks on the A46, grid reference SO886139. Total 5.5 miles 3 hours.
