Who is Who?

Pastor: Tim Welch

Tim Welch is married to Rachel and they have 3 children. He arrived at Cambray in 2008, following pastorates in Jersey, Shrewsbury and Richmond-upon-Thames. Following training for ministry at Spurgeon’s College (London), Tim has more recently gained a PhD (University of Birmingham, 2009), researching the life and ministry of Joseph Smale and his Baptist roots in the emergence of Pentecostalism in Los Angeles, impacting the Azusa Street revival.

Associate Pastor : Jonathan Loose

Jonathan and his wife Sian joined us at Cambray in September 2009. Previously Jon worked four days a week on the staff of St. Luke’s, Wimbledon Park and two days a week on IT with the Proclamation Trust.

Associate Pastor (Leckhampton): Fred Hughes

Fred Hughes has been Associate Pastor since 2005, after a career in education and service with the Association of Christian Teachers and the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship. He has been married to Viv for nearly 40 years.

Pastoral Assistant : Naomi Clemo

Naomi first came to Cambray as a student and then worked for the Universities & Colleges Christian Fellowship as a Relay Worker in Norwich. In August 2010 Naomi was appointed as Pastoral Assistant – supporting student, international, and women’s ministry. Naomi is an affiliate of the organisation ‘Friends International’

Apprentice : Tim Wallace

In September 2011 Tim Wallace joins the Cambray team for one year as our Apprentice. Having completed his sports studies at the University of Gloucestershire Tim’s remit in this Olympic year is to develop our outreach through sport, while also serving among our young people, gaining Bible training, and on the job ministry experience.
